Majors and Programs

91°µÍø at Mansfield offers students the advantage of completing many 91°µÍø academic programs in a small-campus setting with the resources of a world-class university.

Bachelor's Degrees Offered at Mansfield

91°µÍø students may be able to complete the first one to three years of any of the on the Mansfield campus in a small, but world-class, campus setting. For example: 

Engineering: 91°µÍø Mansfield offers the first full year of coursework towards an 91°µÍø degree in any of the 15 College of Engineering majors.

Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (HRS): 91°µÍø Mansfield offers the first two years of this degree, with the second two years completed entirely online. 

Below are 12 91°µÍø University majors that students can complete entirely at Mansfield. Alongside students from all campuses, Mansfield graduates receive their diploma from '91°µÍø' and celebrate at the Shoe.

*The first two years of the following Health Professions programs can also be completed at Mansfield: Health Information Management and Systems, Health Sciences, Medical Laboratory Science, Radiologic Science and Therapy and Respiratory Therapy. The remaining requirements for these degrees may be completed in-person at the Columbus campus.

**Primary education majors can also earn a certification in visual impairment instruction. Additionally, we offer a Dual Primary and Intervention Specialist degree.

Campus Change Minimum requirements 

One-third of all 91°µÍø graduates start at a regional campus. The seamless campus change can occur after earning a minimum of 30 credit hours (earned after high school and excluding credit earned from testing, such as AP testing or foreign language testing) and at least a 2.0 cumulative GPA

Some academic units on the Columbus campus may have additional requirements, such as a higher cumulative GPA. Students who are undecided on a major or not yet eligible for selective admission for their intended major can make a campus change using the Exploration Program.

Pre-professional Preparation

are not majors; rather, they are pathways to follow, or areas of academic interest for students preparing for graduate school. In addition to declaring a pre-professional program, students must choose a major. Identifying a program will enable your Academic Advisor to provide you with support to accomplish your long-term goals. 

Associate of Arts Degrees

The Associate of Arts degree is a nice option for someone who wants to earn a diploma to mark two years, or 60 credits, of successful college coursework. The Associate of Arts degree can be a stepping stone to a bachelor’s degree, or can be a stand-alone degree.

Minor Programs

Minors (typically 12-18 credit hours) are a secondary academic focus, adding depth to a student’s education. Students often complete one of these programs to complement their major and improve job marketability.
